Mickey has had a very hard day. She was in a lot of pain and her abdomen is quite distended. The doctor feels her liver is very enlarged and that is the source of the pain. She was very restless, kicking her legs, etc.
The doctor changed her meds. this afternoon and she has been calm, but not awake since then. It has pretty much been decided that she can not go home because she is in much pain that must be managed and she is not really aware at this point. She is not eating and really not drinking either. We are trying to keep her comfortable.
